Cornus Extract Complex
A 7:3 composite ingredient of Cornus fruit and Ribes fasciculatum leaf (body fat functionality)
The Cornus extract complex is an ingredient that blends Korean-grown Cornus fruit (Cornus officinalis, Asiatic dogwood) and Ribes fasciculatum leaf at a ratio of 7 to 3. NINEB, a subsidiary of Ajou University's technology holding company, developed it by reviewing about 100 native Korean medicinal plants, selecting these two raw materials, and researching them for seven years.
It is an MFDS individually approved functional ingredient (No. 2022-26), recognized as one that “may help reduce body fat.” Quality is controlled using loganin from Cornus and 4-HBA from Ribes fasciculatum leaf as marker compounds.
